I'm not sure I understand the edits here. Clearly, by stats and reputation, Ms. Navratalova is one of the single best female tennis players of all time. Does being a homosexual change that?--JeanJacques 16:11, 3 November 2008 (EST)

She is using her position of fame as a role model for young women (and perhaps some men) to entice them with the idea that homosexuality is common among athletes and can be a lifestyle of success. Yet few athletes are homosexual and many homosexuals face a lifetime of hardship. Navartilova's career has been an incredible exception to the trends, and so it's disingenuous of her to encourage others to follow her path when so many will fall along the way. -Foxtrot 18:59, 3 November 2008 (EST)
No, no, sorry. I did understand that part. I was confused only on why the "one of the best female tennis players" was removed. Sorry I didn't make that clear. her views on homosexuality are important for CP to mention, and seem to be well written after the last two changes.--JeanJacques 19:50, 3 November 2008 (EST)
That's bizarre. I hadn't noticed that. Will fix it now. -Foxtrot 20:23, 3 November 2008 (EST)
