I've observed this site for some time with a mixture of bemusement and disbelief.

I have registered such that I can discuss/debate and hopefully contribute a useful point of view, though much will depend on how the site continues to evolve. If my time can be well spent, I will contribute.

I would describe myself as fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

With regards to science vs. religion, I'd fall to the left, if left is an accurate depiction of those who believe in science. This is not to say that I am a non-believer. I was raised Roman Catholic, though I could not be called practicing at this point...

I have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, and have worked in the Aerospace industry for over ten years. I am also currently pursuing my Master's degree in Engineering.

Leaving these fun comments for posterity: History of how I was blocked for a week for a mildly snarky edit, with no warning (since TK added two and three without any additional posts from me). QNA 12:47, 25 January 2008 (EST)
