NFL Career
Andrews was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft on April 25, 2007. Because he was such a low draft choice, he wasn't a lock to make the team. Andrews however in training camp showed he was worthy of a roster spot as a backup defensive back, special teams contributer and even emergency backup receiver. In his rookie 2006 season with the Patriots he played in 15 of the Pats regular season games. He tied for first on the team with special teams tackles with 15 and had 17 total tackles on the year. He also played in all three of the Patriots postseason games and had one tackle.
