Shrimp make good pets, and they get along well with Betta fish, which also make fine pets.
Shrimps are small decapod crustaceans, often consumed as food, and sometimes kept as pets.
Biblical Prohibition
The Old Testament prohibits the consumption of shrimp and other non-fish marine animals.
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. (Leviticus 11:12)
