He also attracted controversy by directing the movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, a blatantly anti-American film which mocks and ridicules decent, ordinary American citizens, as well as Sacha Baron Cohen's equally offensive subsequent films, Bruno and The Dictator.
