The Denver Nuggets are a professional basketball team based in Denver, Colorado.
In the 2006-2007 season they made a landmark trade with the 76ers, in which they procured Allen Iverson, who has since been traded to the Detroit Pistons. Their record that year was over .500, (they won more than half their games), but they have struggled to get into the playoffs because of the strength of other teams in the West. Other prominent players on their team include Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups.
