Abeka is a textbook publisher providing materials to Christian private schools and homeschooling families.
It is located in Pensacola, Florida, and is owned by Pensacola Christian College, an Independent Baptist university. The name is taken from Beka Horton, wife of PCC founder Dr. Arlin Horton.
Abeka is one of the two dominant publishers of private Christian school and homeschool textbooks and resources, the other being BJU Press (the textbook publishing arm of Bob Jones University).
