Fuzzy Logic is a computer-based system that models complex relationships handled in life by imprecise language. Included as fuzzy logic are formal fuzzy logic (a multi-valued type of logic) and fuzzy sets, which measure similarities between an object and a group of objects. In a fuzzy set one member can belong both to the set and its complement.

Fuzzy sets seek to approximate human reasoning better than traditional crisp sets.
