Jethro

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by DavidB4-bot (Talk | contribs) at 21:14, July 12, 2016. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Jethro (Hebrew: יִתְרוֹ(one time called "Reuel") is a priest of Midian and the father-in-law of Moses after Moses married Jethro's daughter Zipporah (Exodus 2:21). Jethro is credited with helping to establish the Israelite system of laws by convincing Moses to appoint judges under him to deal with minor cases.
