Minneapolis is the largest city in the state of Minnesota. Alongside the state capitol, St. Paul, they are known as the Twin Cities.

In sports, Minneapolis is the home of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves, the MLB's Minnesota Twins, and the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.
