The Pittsburgh Steelers are a National Football League franchise team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They are part of the American Football Conference (AFC) and play in the AFC North Division.
The Steelers won the Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009. They have now six titles (most Super Bowl wins). Santonio Holmes was considered the MVP (Most Valuable Player).
Dan Rooney, the owner of the Steelers, was named the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland on July 1, 2009 [1]
