Rosemary's Baby is a psychological-horror movie released in 1968 about a woman (Rosemary) who becomes concerned that an organization of witches is after her un-born child. The movie was based on a book by the same title that was published in 1987. The book has a sequel titled Son of Rosemary

Rosemary is played by Mia Farrow and is cast as the heroin or rather, victim in the movie.

The movie is rated R for Adult themes, sexual content, and nudity.

Awards

Ruth Gordon won an Oscar in 1969 for best actress in a supporting roll. The movie, as well as several of the actors were also nominated and won several other rewards, including a Golden Globe, which was also awarded to Ruth Gordon.
