Writing is one of the healthiest hobbies that anyone can have. Many can have a wonderful career with it.
An interesting analysis of the average word count by great authors is roughly 1,000 words per day, with some having more and others less.[1]
A listing of the number of words in famous novels is available (50,000 is roughly an average, though a few are 9-10 times as long),[2] as is the word count of famous short stories.[3]
