Åland Islands

Åland Islands (Finnish: Ahvenanmaa) is an archipelago southwest of mainland Finland in the Gulf of Bothnia. It consists of about 35 inhabited islands, 6,500 uninhabited islands, and many rocky reefs. The capital and by far the biggest city of the archipelago is Mariehamn. The totl number of inhabitants of the Islands is 29,013 (2016).[1]
