Aborted children of rock stars is a painful list to read about, and the world suffers by the loss in this potentially immense talent. In most cases the victim was the rock star herself or himself.

Elvis Presley

Joyce Bova asserted that she aborted Elvis Presley's child without telling him.

Elvis, however, was reportedly opposed to a suggestion that Priscilla Presley abort their child.

Hank Williams

While Hank Williams was traveling the US on a music tour in 1950, Audrey Mae Williams (formerly Audrey Mae Sheppard) discovered that she was pregnant with her second child. There is some speculation about who the father was, but regardless, she decided abort the child. Audrey became ill with an infection following that procedure, and was hospitalized. According to Hank Williams' biography, he was upset to learn the news. He visited her in the hospital, but she was reportedly angry, and blamed him for her troubles. Hank Williams later remarked that Audrey had "a cold, cold heart."

Britney Spears

“But Justin [Timberlake] definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy," Brittany Spears wrote about her pregnancy while in a relationship with him. "He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. ... If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."

Spears wrote about this abortion of her unborn child, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."

Ella Fitzgerald

Ella Fitzgerald broke from her typical hard working nature in 1937. While there does not seem to be any definitive documentation on the matter, at least not publicly available on the web, her biographer speculated that she had an abortion at this time. The biography further speculated that something went wrong, causing her to take time for recovery, and preventing her from ever having children.

Billie Holiday

As a teenager in the 1930s, Billie Holiday underwent an at-home abortion. She was purportedly forced to do so by her mother. Some literature suggests that Holiday might have seen her inability to get pregnant later in life, as a penalty for that earlier act.

Judy Garland

In 1951, Judy Garland was married to Vincente Minnelli (her second husband), but fornicating with Sid Luft. As a result, she became pregnant with Luft's child. He did not take the news of her pregnancy well, and pressured her into having an abortion. She ended up marrying Luft the next year.
