Ahmed al-Sharaa (b. 1982), also previously known as Mohammad al-Julani or Jolani before being removed from the United States State Department wanted list for terrorism and installed (mainly by Islamist Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Turkey) into power in Syria, is commander of the al Qaeda and Islamic State branch Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorist organization in Syria.

The change of power in Syria did not bring true reforms. Syria is under the control of the secret "committee" of the leader terrorists. Close ally to Osama bin Ladin, Ahmad Zidan was appointed as an advisor to the transitional President of Syria Ahmad Al Sharaa.[1]

Regime is classical ethno-religious Islamic apartheid, anti-minorities, marked by: Massacres of Christians[2][3] Kurds' fear,[4][5] racist Arab supremacist and Islamic fascistic genocide drive against Druze.[6][7][3]

A Reuters investigation has shown that the key role in the process is played by the brother of the terrorist leader Ahmed al-Shara - Hazem al-Sharaa, who does not hold official positions, but actually oversees all economic policy.

The economy is managed by a secret "committee", which received assets worth more than $1.6 billion, including shares in the mobile operator Syriatel and the airline Fly Cham, previously owned by Assad's entourage.

Business deals are handled by Abu Maryam (Ibrahim Sukkaria), an Australian citizen of Lebanese origin who is under economic sanctions for his links to terrorism. He negotiates with businessmen, many of whom are allowed to keep some of their assets in exchange for control over their enterprises and large payments.

Terrorist career

al-Sharaa (Jolani) joined al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) shortly before the 2003 U.S. led Iraq war and fought in the Iraqi insurgency for three years. He was captured by American forces led by Gen. David Petraeus in 2006 and imprisoned until 2011.

After his release, coinciding with the start of the Syrian war, he founded the al-Nusra Front in 2012, an al-Qaeda affiliate aiming to topple Bashar al-Assad's regime.

This situation in Syria has deteriorated into pure barbarity. Horrific reports of massacres against Druze and Christians are coming in, yet for some reason, seem largely ignored. CBN's Raj Nair is joined by Israeli Druze activist Mansor Ashkar for the breaking details.

Days after Syrian government forces raided the central hospital in Sweida, the stench of death lingers everywhere.
