Christine Todd Whitman
Christine Todd Whitman (born 1946) is a former Governor of New Jersey (1994-2001), and the administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency (2001-2003) under President George W. Bush. She is a Republican. After leaving the Bush administration she published a book, It's My Party, Too: Taking Back the Republican Party... And Bringing the Country Together Again (2005) that was highly critical of President Bush. She has opposed restrictions on abortion, and supports gay marriage.
Before her election as governor in 1993, she was the unsuccessful GOP candidate for the United States Senate in 1990 against Bill Bradley.
