Connacht (Irish: Connachta; formerly Anglicised as Connaught) is one of the four traditional provinces of Ireland, alongside Ulster, Leinster and Munster. It occupies the central-western part of Ireland, and is made up on Counties Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo. The main city is Galway.
