Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Conservapedia is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and it will respond and address any alleged copyright infringement.
Conservapedia is an educational site and may assert a "fair use" defense to claims of alleged infringement. Conservapedia will remove any material that is actually infringing, without prior notice to the editor(s) who posted it. We reserve the right to publish any complaints received for alleged copyright infringement.
To file a notice of infringement, send a written communication (by fax or regular mail, plus a copy by email) that includes the items below. Identify specifically the name of the entry here that you feel infringes on your copyright, and how it may infringe. Provide your contact information, preferably including an email address.
Include a statement that "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
Include an attestation: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
Sign the paper and include an electronic signature on the email in the form /name/.
