The Dark Side of the Moon is a 1973 album by the British rock band Pink Floyd. It is one of the five best selling albums of all time, having sold over 45 million copies worldwide.[1] It also spawned the classic rock radio staples Time, Money, and Brain Damage. The album can be synched with The Wizard of Oz in a manner that brings about many coincidences,[2] although various members of the band have stated that this itself is a coincidence.[3]
The Dark Side of the Moon holds the all-time record, by far, of spending 950 weeks on the top Billboard 200.[4]
