Ethel Byrne

Ethel Higgins Byrne was an early radicalized feminist activist and proponent of birth control. She was the sister of Margaret Sanger.

Early on, Ethel helped Margaret to violate the Comstock Laws.[1]

She was the mother of Olive Byrne, the mistress of the creator of the Wonder Woman comic book character, Dr. William Moulton Marston.[2]
