Foil (song)

Foil is a parody song by Weird Al Yankovic, which parodies the song "Royals" by New Zealand singer Lorde.

The video shows Weird Al in a restaurant, then on a cooking show, explaining how he protects his leftovers, by wrapping them in aluminum foil.

The video then shows Weird Al claiming that he has "cracked the code" of how various groups (such as the Illuminati and the New World Order) plan to implement global domination; however, he has protected himself by fabricating a "tin foil hat" (tin foil being a common, though incorrect, nickname for aluminum foil). In the end, he is sedated by two "men in black", and the director reveals to be an alien life form.
