Hawley and the Bible refers to a remarkable speech given by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) on September 12, 2022, in which he explained that the roots of the U.S. Constitution and the United States are in the Bible.
Sen. Hawley stated at the National Conservatism Conference:

This elicited a torrent of false liberal claptrap in response.[1]
