John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr. (November 25, 1960 – July 16, 1999) was an American lawyer, pilot and the eldest son of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Kennedy died in a plane crash in 1999. On July 16, Kennedy and his wife Carolyn Bessette were reported missing. They were en route to the wedding of Rory Kennedy. On July 21, their bodies were discovered on the ocean floor. The NTSB determined that Kennedy lost control of his Saratoga due to spatial disorientation and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.[1]
