John Morris is the son of the founder of the Institute for Creation Research, Henry Morris, and is now the current President of ICR. He is an active article contributor to ICR publications.
He earned a Doctorate in Geological Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 1980. He served on the University of Oklahoma faculty until 1984, when he joined ICR, and he was appointed president of the organization in 1996. He continues to serve as president emeritus as of 2016.
