Liquified natural gas

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that is cooled into a liquid state for shipping and storage.

Very cold temperatures are required to do this, roughly , at about -260° Fahrenheit.

Dispute with France

In October 2022, during the Russia-Ukraine War, France complained about high LNG prices on imports of it from the United States:
