Market Clearing Price, or MCP, is the term for the price at which a product is sold at supply and demand equilibrium, or the point at which the supply and demand curves meet. At the MCP, there is as much of that product demanded as there is being sold. Market clearing price coincides with equilibrium quantity. Market clearing price is also known as equilibrium price and normal price.
