The People's Party (PP) (or in Spanish Partido del Pueblo) was a political party in Puerto Rico, which was founded by Roberto Sánchez Vilella in 1968 from a faction of Partido Popular Democratico (PPD).

In 1968, Roberto Sánchez Vilella, who was elected governor in 1964 under the PPD party, wanted to run for re-election. The PPD selected its 1968 candidate at a convention instead of a primary, and the PPD's founder backed Luis Negrón López. As a result, Sánchez Vilella formed the People's Party in an unsuccessful reelection bid where neither candidate won.
