Sleswick-Holsatia

Sleswick-Holsatia (German: Schleswig-Holstein) is the most northern federal state (Land) of Germany. It has an area of 6,086 square miles (15,800 km2) and a population of 2,800,000. The state capital is Kiel, with 240,000 inhabitants the biggest city of the state; of great historical importance is the Hanseatic City of Lübeck (210,000 inhabitants), which is listed as a World Heritage Site for its Brick Gothic architecture.
