(Redirected from TNT)
Trinitrotoluene (more commonly known as TNT) is an explosive chemical compound used for demolitions. TNT is also used as a benchmark for measuring the explosive force of other explosives and bombs. Many nuclear weapons and other heavy explosives have blasts that are measured in "megatons of TNT," which is usually shortened to simply "megatons".
