The terms childlike, gentle, pretty, willowy, and submissive used in this definition of femininity seem to describing children rather than women, even given that femininity is a cultural rather than biological term. In particular, 'willowy' strikes me as odd, since the imagery suggested is tall and slender. Many of the most striking physical differences between men and women, such as women's larger breasts, wider hips and greater body-fat ratio, argue to me that it would be men who could best be described as 'willowy'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mja (talk)

Relation to biology

What does human femininity have to do with Biology? Only an atheist or materialist would categorize it in that way. God made human being in the divine image, "male and female" (Gen. 1:27) so the traits of masculinity and femininity come from God and might even be divine attributes. --Ed Poor ^Talk 20:36, 7 August 2007 (EDT)
