A few items. She didn't write the first program that worked. The honor of writing the first program, for an electronic digital computer, that actually worked, probably goes to Maurice Wilkes. Also, saying "mainframe" and "crash" isn't right in the context of the 1950's. Mainframe was a distinction that didn't exist, and the term "crash" had to wait for at least rudimentary operating systems. SamHB 23:36, 4 April 2011 (EDT)
