The curious thing about this single document posted in the mainspace is, its date. 1928. Here we have a candidate for President of the United States taking instructions from a foreign power. In 1928 the US did not have diplomatic relations with the USSR. So Foster it appears, at this stage of his career, falls into a category later refered to as an illegal operative, i.e. an agent of the Comintern apparatus operating under illegal, or unofficial cover.
This is incredible when you think about. A foreign power instructs a stooge to get on the ballot & run for President in US elections. And this document shows he an agent of Stalin or Lenin or whoever was running the commie revolution in 1928. How many American history books teach junior high schoolers that the US political system allows foreign governments--foreign government the US does not even have diplomatic relations with--to run candidates for President? Hmmm? Sheeeesh, do we have a ways to go in educating our children, huh? Rob Smith 00:54, 9 November 2007 (EST)
