Transclusion

Transclusion is the deliberate inclusion of text from another document. As envisioned by hypertext pioneer Ted Nelson, this arrangement allows a direct link to the original source of a quotation. It also allows, for example, a chart of current wheat prices to updated in one place, and the new prices immediately reflected in the transcluded text.
