Truckers Ride for the Constitution is a political movement organized to slowdown traffic with truck convoys on interstate 495 in Washington D.C. from October 11 to the 13th. Truckers want to “awaken the American people to the complete disregard for the Constitution and bring a message to Congress that We The People demand to be heard.”

The supporting hashtag is #T2SDA, which stands for Truckers 2 Shut Down America. The Facebook page of the Truckers protest was shutdown by Facebook. Another Facebook page quickly went live with 132,000 followers.

Rumors

Others have claimed the truckers are going to shutdown the highway, which is not a goal. Another rumor has truckers coming to D.C. to perform citizens' arrest of certain politicians. Both of these rumors have been characterized as misinformation.[1]
