Wheeler High School

Wheeler High School is a high school located in Cobb County, Georgia. The school has 1910 students. Wheeler has an excellent basketball team, which has won the state level competition in the AAAAA division several times. The basketball team is coached by Coach Lipscomb, who has three freshmen students of his own.

Wheeler High Scool has a large Magnet Program. The college acceptance of the Wheeler Magnet is 100% into the University of Georgia and a 98% acceptance rate into Georgia Tech. The Magnet School offers a challenging science curriculum, as biology and chemistry are both taken freshman year and most magnet students take about ten Advanced Placement Cources. 2007's valedictorian of wheeler high school was accepted into Harvard University.

Joseph Wheeler High School was named after the Confederate general Joseph Wheeler.
