How is Serena Williams underrated? She's ranked #1 in the world by a huge margin! IsabellW 13:55, 1 August 2015 (EDT)

:Selena is ranked #1 because she is far superior to every other player. The media do not give her the full credit she deserves ... because she is a devout Christian.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 19:32, 2 August 2015 (EDT)
::Ho hum... Serena is one of the very few leading female athletes who is not underrated by the media! I really wonder about this website sometimes... StaceyT (talk) 19:39, 2 August 2015 (EDT)
:::How are the media not giving Ms. Williams "the full credit she deserves"? She is the most well-known tennis player in the world right now. She didn't get that way by being ignored by the media. IsabellW (talk) 19:44, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
::::This is the same website that thought Tim Tebow should have started over Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in recent years, and claims LeBron James and Kobe Bryant in his prime were both inferior to Kevin Durant. You just have to roll with the madness here.--Eg (talk) 8:25, 6 August 2015 (EDT)

Mr Schlafly, how brave of you to protect the page to avoid a serious discussion of why almost all female athletes, bar top tennis players like Serena Williams and maybe a few in Track+Field, are totally ignored by the media and underrated by the public. Stopping people telling you this doesn't stop it being true. StaceyT (talk) 15:09, 3 August 2015 (EDT)

:Women athletes are often promoted by the media. Just because an athlete is a woman does not mean she is underrated. Some, like Babe Didrikson Zaharias, even had a movie made about her.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 14:49, 9 August 2015 (EDT)

Time to take Stephen Curry off this list?
Not only is he no longer underrated, but he no longer has the political argument for being here: http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/02/08/stephen-curry-respond-to-trump-love-from-under-amours-ceo/

Lack of Articles
Less than a third of the athletes listed have a dedicated article. If they are so important but under-rated, why aren't articles being written about these fine people? --LSimons (talk) 11:19, July 5, 2023 (EDT)
:Great point! I'll work on remedying that oversight, which perhaps shows that distortions by the liberal media have unjustified influence almost everywhere. Ha ha ha.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 13:42, July 5, 2023 (EDT)
