Buck Sexton
Buck Sexton (b. 1981) is a well-known American conservative radio host, political commentator, author, and former CIA officer.
He joined the Central Intelligence Agency as an analyst in 2005, shortly after graduating from Amherst College with a bachelor's degree in political science. His assignments included work in the Al Qaeda-focused Counterterrorism Center (CTC) and the Office of Iraqi Analysis. He also completed tours of duty as an intelligence officer in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other global hotspots, where he led briefings for senior U.S. officials. Some sources describe him as a former counterterrorism officer who personally debriefed President George W. Bush during the Iraq War era.
After leaving the CIA (around 2009–2010, based on various accounts), he briefly worked in the New York Police Department's Intelligence Division before transitioning into media.
Sexton frequently leverages his intelligence background in his commentary, especially on national security, terrorism, and foreign policy. He's currently best known as the co-host of The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, a nationally syndicated conservative talk radio program. The show took over the legendary time slot previously held by Rush Limbaugh following Limbaugh's death in 2021.
