Monica Crowley

Monica Crowley as of 2025 was serving as the Chief of Protocol of the United States, appointed by President Donald Trump in May 2025. She is a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs (2019–2021) during the Trump 1.0 administration, deputy national security advisor, and Fox News host and political commentator known for her conservative views.
Crowley was a foreign policy assistant and confidante to former President Richard Nixon during the last four years of his life, from 1990 until his death in 1994. She later wrote two best-selling books about her experiences with him: Nixon Off the Record (1996) and Nixon in Winter (1998).
