Want to upload a picture of the person for a new article I created
I would like to upload the picture at https://www.canadianatheists.ca/profile/randolf-richardson.png to the new article I created at https://www.conservapedia.com/Randolf_Richardson so that I can make it match the format of the article about David Silverman at https://www.conservapedia.com/David_Silverman (I want to add more to this article as I dig up more dirt about him because he was very rude about Jesus to one of my friends who was in tears, so his bad deeds needs to be exposed once I have evidence that can be checked and verified).

Amen. Macy Rhume

:Done: :File:Randolf Richardson.png. Sorry for the wait. --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 22:22, 9 March 2020 (EDT)

:::Thank you DavidB4! Just curious though, how come there is extraneous space in the picture? I just added the file to the page about Jenean Hampton, and due to the function set for images in officeholder templates, the image appears small and right of center. --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 14:57, 6 April 2020 (EDT)
::::That's a good question. It sounds like a problem we would need to troubleshoot in the template code. You could try inserting other images just to test, and see if they have the same issue. I suppose it is possible that a different image shape could work around this problem. --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 18:45, 7 April 2020 (EDT)

:::::I don't think it's the template code that's the problem. Because the image you uploaded had empty space on both the left and the right and there was more space on the left, it appears (on the content page in the template) to be small and right of center. Do you suppose you can re-upload the image without the extraneous space? I was not initially aware that there was the empty space in the original file in the source linked.
:::::Also, out of topic, but is the image in public domain? It wasn't specified in the website, and it says "Official Portrait" and looks like it's most likely a government picture. In addition, the image was apparently used here and the file was attributed to ky.gov, which would be a government website. Thank you DavidB4! --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 19:00, 7 April 2020 (EDT)

::::::Oh wow. I should have noticed that blank space--thanks for pointing it out! I think I've fixed it. In regard to licensing, images made by the U.S. federal government are in the public domain. However, individual states and towns sometimes make copyright claims on their materials. Whether Kentucky does that I do not know, but without researching KY law, I didn't dare list it as PD. If you find out that they do release to the PD, feel free to update it.

:Beetroot is a near duplicate of Beet, which already has an image. I don't know if we should merge these pages, or not. I know your page is speaking specifically about the root, rather than the plant overall. Additionally, beet greens are another form of food. ==Article: Patrick Connick==
The article won't come up; its says "Create the page "Patrick Connick" on this wiki!", but the page has already been created. Please check on this. BHathorn (talk) 15:42, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

:I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but here's a speculation. Most of the time, when a CP page is created, the URL for it is just conservapedia.com/(article_title), with the spaces in the title replaced with underscores, non-alphanumerical symbols replaced with etc. etc. For instance, the URL for the CP page Democrat Party is conservapedia.com/Democrat_Party, the URL for the CP page Vladimir Putin is conservapedia.com/Vladimir_Putin, etc. However, for the Patrick Connick content page, the URL is conservapedia.com/Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B, not conservapedia.com/Patrick_Connick. --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 15:58, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

::Something else interesting: I entered "Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B" into the search, but the article did not pop up, and no results popped up either. --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 16:02, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

Correct, the article name was literally: "Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B". This can happen when you copy-and-paste text. There are special, invisible characters on some pages which will be unintentionally copied along with the text you are trying to get (in this case, the name "Patrick Connick"). They cannot show as invisible in a URL though, so they are encoded with "%" and the two-digit character ID. In this case, there were 6 special characters. I have removed these special characters from the page name, so it should work correctly now. For best results in the future, try to type in the text manually, rather than copying it. --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 16:47, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

:If the article name was "Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B", then how come no results show up when I enter it into the search bar? --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 17:02, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

::Technically, the article name contains the special characters themselves, not the encoded version of them. These are not common special characters I can look up easily, but I assume they are blank characters. So if you use a URI decoder, the decoded output of "Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B" will appear to be simply "Patrick_Connick". However, if you copy the output from that decoding into the CP search box, it will take you to the bad article name (which is now a redirect to the correct one). These characters are invisible, and the only way we can see them in this case is when they are encoded into the URL. If you want to find the page with this bad name, you need to search for the article name with those actual special characters after it, since the wiki software does not do URI encoding. I was trying to keep it simple, though, which is why I generalized by saying that the page name is "Patrick_Connick%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B" --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 18:18, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

:::Okay, thank you DavidB4! Unfortunately, I'm not an expert on the topic and the way such works, but your explanation does kind of help explain it. --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 18:25, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

::::You're welcome...I probably didn't do a great job explaining it, but web browsers use what is called "URI encoding," sometimes called "percent encoding". If you are interested, you might be able to find some materials on the topic, such as this. --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 18:51, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

Hey there, I'm needing some pics of Athletes. I hope someone could help me.

I have three requested through pages, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes w/ Tyreek Hill (on Kansas City Chiefs page), I need one for Sam Graves's page and then finally the Kansas City Chiefs Logo that will be on their team template.

The three I have in mind (though can change) are,

We can't use the first one due to these terms, we can't use the second one due to these terms, and the third comes from Pintrist, where is is more difficult to establish true ownership rights, but typically, their images are copyrighted an unusable to us. == Requesting image upload rights ==
Recently I brought up a planned article to Andy Schlafly and he made this account for me. For now, I've been working on it in the browser, but saving it as a .txt file . The article needs six public domain images from Wikimedia Commons; the six public domain images do not require attribution; they are not merely Creative Commons copyleft images. The article also needs seven charts showing local-area economic figures. The charts are not on Wikimedia Commons, but I can make and upload them. The article is largely dependent on the charts. I hope to upload some images before creating the article, and then publish the article when it is finished. I would rather publish the entire article at once in a basically completed form; without the charts it would have some big holes in it.

This is kind of a lot, especially for just one article, but it is long, with over 8,000 words. Even though my account is new, are you willing to grant me image upload rights?

I understand the need for uploading public domain images to comply with Conservapedia:Copyright.--Opheilo (talk) 00:13, December 5, 2022 (EST)

:That's something you would have to discuss with Andy. But granting the request as stated might be unprecedented. Because CP is a meritocracy, Andy would probably want to see some contributions first before granting enhanced user rights. Thanks. RobSGive Peace a chance 02:53, December 5, 2022 (EST)

:These days, as there's drastically less active editors on Conservapedia compared to the arguably glorious days of even five years ago, it appears that additional rights beyond SkipCaptcha aren't practical to anticipate obtaining unless you have excellent credentials on the site which either a) are directly noticed by Andy, or b) presented by a prominent editor to Andy in requesting to grant more rights. The vague threshold for obtaining "edit" (which allows editing the site 24/7 even when there's the "soft" locking phases which randomly occur) and "Upload" probably require at least hundreds of edits and substantial content created, from my knowledge and observation as an editor for the past several years. If you're lucky, maybe Andy will give you additional rights much sooner. —<code><span style="background:#FF8181">LT</span></code> (The Old Right was right!) Wednesday, 22:43, December 6, 2022 (EST)
