'''Still in Saigon''' is a country song written and sung by The Charlie Daniels Band.

The singer, a Vietnam Veteran, talks about how 10 years earlier he was drafted into military service.  Instead of escaping to [[Canada]] (which was housing many [[draft dodging|draft dodgers]] at that time) or staying in school on a student deferment, he "was brought up differently" and "couldn't break the rules".

After serving 13 months and 15 days ("the last ones were the worst") he came home to a bitterly divided family (his younger brother, now a leftist war protestor, called him a "killer" while his father called him a "vet").  Worse, he began to show symptoms of [[PTSD]], exacerbated by summer rains; he feels that he is "still in Saigon in my mind".
