View source for Talk:Views on atheists

I'm not certain I understand the purpose of the International Journal for The Psychology of Religion study. Was it to marginalize a collective group who identify themselves as "atheists", or was it to present the group as oppressed victims of societal prejudice? Apparantly, the study is a scholarly effort to turn "atheists" into a victim group in need of hate crimes protection by legislation. RobSGive Peace a chance 15:44, December 12, 2022 (EST)
:RobS, until you disavow your use of hide/collapse templates, which I believe you have used inappropriately and in a way that discourages thoughtful and cordial discourse, I don't have any interest in having further discussions with you at Conservapedia. I am not saying this to be difficult. I am just letting you know that I am avoiding discussions with you for this reason. If you decide to change course in this matter that would be great, but if you choose not to while that would be unfortunate, I can certainly live with this outcome. RobS, I do have things to attend to outside of Conservapedia. I used a number of excellent sources and research to support this article. It is not an essay. It documents the USA/world opinion on atheists. I know we have disagreements on various issues, but you don't have to behave unreasonably. I certainly don't turn your articles into essays. :I will restate the question:
::I'm not certain I understand the purpose of the International Journal for The Psychology of Religion study. Was it to marginalize a collective group who identify themselves as "atheists", or was it to present the group as oppressed victims of societal prejudice?
::Apparantly, the study is a scholarly effort to turn "atheists" into a victim group in need of hate crimes protection by legislation.

:::My response: I don't know what you mean by this statement. Conservative (talk) 17:29, December 12, 2022 (EST)

::::Here, for example, it says "negative views about atheists", which sounds like a pitch for hate crimes legislation to make atheists a protected religious class. The problem can be fixed by making the sentence about an idea, not persons. Changing a "t" to an "m". :::::I think the term "negative views about atheists" is a neutral term. People either have positive/negative/neutral views on things. Maybe we can discuss this some other time. I have a deadline that is tomorrow for a project and I have to work on that now. Conservative (talk) 17:51, December 12, 2022 (EST)
