Kristi Noem (b. November 30, 1971) is the Republican Representative for the United States House of Representatives from South Dakota. She was first elected in 2010, defeating incumbent Democrat Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. She is Pro-life, a rancher, a mother of three, a hunter and a conservative who represents South Dakota state House of Representatives since 2006. Currently serves as the Assistant Majority Leader. [1] Kristi Noem and her family lives on a ranch where they raise Angus cattle and show Quarter Horses. Noem has worked the family farm for 17 years, owned and operated a hunting operation, and helped manage the family restaurant.[2][3]
Kristi Noem has become a fundraising star for the GOP, raising more campaign cash than any other Republican challenger for U.S. House. [4]
