The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is a group that promote "computer user freedom and to defend the rights of all free software users." They promote GNU OS and oppose DRM, the RIAA and Windows software. The FSF was fonuded by Richard Stallman in 1985, and he has remained its president every since.
