Fallujah is a city in Iraq that has been a major area of resistance to US occupation. It is approximately 60 kilometers to the west of Baghdad on the Euphrates river. It is included in the so called Sunni Triangle. In January 2014 Fallujah was taken over by Islamist terror organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.[1]
