:I say govt corruption plays a huge role and the destitute disenfranchised population revolted. They rightfully believe Mubarak is a puppet of the West, financially and in the peace process he is. So I believe they kill two birds with one stone- Shariah govt that will better the citizens of Egypt and support Hamas over Israel. The democracy talk is all a ruse and they have no intentions of democracy. Islam hates democracy and this playing out exactly how Iran portrayed the need to ouster the Shah.--[[User:Jpatt|Jpatt]] 16:18, 1 February 2011 (EST) | :I say govt corruption plays a huge role and the destitute disenfranchised population revolted.
