:::OK. The only reason I want this done is have the first sentence appear as if it has 1 to 3 footnotes. 6 footnotes in the key first sentence does not look attractive. It is OK if those same 6 footnotes appear on the bottom though. For cosmetic reasons, I just want it to be appear as if 1-3 footnotes as far as the first sentence text.
