I was writing up a draft dodging article, andd linked out to your Alvin York article. I have written that York changed his mind about filing for CO, your article basically says he was sent despite it. I just do not know the truth, and may have been influenced by Hollywood in my version, so if you are certain or have a good souce, I will be glad to conform my article and resolve the discrepancy. Hi, David. I liked what you said [] about theory and practice. I read a couple of university-level textbooks on Communism, and I daresay you are "dead on" about the consistency of theory and practice.
The inconsistency, of course, is between the political promises made to the "working class" before each revolution. [[Andrew Wilson]] wrote ''[[Communism: Promise and Practice]]'' about that.
