The Green Dragon Tavern was a famous[1] meeting place for well known figures during the American Revolution, such as Samuel Adams, James Otis, Joseph Warren, Paul Revere, and other members of the Sons of Liberty[2]
It is rumored that the decision was made here in this tavern that the tea should not be landed.[3] It was originally built in 1680, and demolished in 1828.[4]
