'''Tim Burns''' (b. born April 14, 1968, - ) was the Republican candidate in the May 18th special election for U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania's District 12, deceased [[John Murtha]]'s seat. That seat has been held by Murtha since 1974, when he won it in a special election. Tim was a small business owner prior to running for the House. He has the support of the national GOP as well as the conservatives [[Sarah Palin]] and Dick Armey, representing the [[Tea Party movement]]. He was defeated by Democrat Mark Critz in the special election, although will face him again in the November 2010 general election.
